O you who believe, be helpers in the cause of Allah, as Jesus, son of Mary, said to the disciples: Who are my helpers in the cause of Allah?
The Disciples said: We are helpers in the cause of Allah.So a party of the Children of Israel believed and another party disbelieved. Then We aided those who believed against their enemy, and they became predominant. Holy Quran 61:14 (Al SAFF: THE RANKS)
We would first and always thank almighty God Allah who appeared IN THE PERSON OF MASTER FARD MUHAMMAD for raising up from our Midst HIS EXALTED CHRIST The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad who is now MAHDI. Through whom we have been given that one for whom the world has been awaiting for the last 2000 years THE MESSIAH The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. Without these divine men there would be no such undertaking as Closing The Gap Broadcast Network (Ctgbnetwork).
Our desire, motivation, and goal is to use this platform as a help to The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan in His great Mission which is Our Mission "The Resurrection Of The Dead" as long as Allah and his Servant Permits. We are all beneficiaries of the love and the Sacrifices made by The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and therefore it is no less than fitting and proper to dedicate our lives to help the man through whom we all have life!
In the illuminating introduction of The Divine Process That Reconciles Man to God titled "Closing The Gap" Inner Views of The Heart, Mind and Spirit of The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, Conducted and Compiled By Jabril Muhammad, Our Sister Latonja Muhammad writes quoting the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad "The ultimate aim and purpose of Master Fard Muhammad was/is to make each one of us into a God" If that is His purpose, and the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad wouldn't have a purpose, except for the purpose of The Master; and Minister Louis Farrakhan wouldn't have a purpose, except for the purpose of the student of The Master: then it is safe to say, that the ultimate aim and purpose of Minister Louis Farrakhan is the same as the Master, to make each one of us into a God! By providing this platform to the world we hope to insha'Allah in some small way help The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, The MESSIAH, fulfill that purpose!

Starla Muhammad is co-host of Closing The Gap and joined the popular show in early 2021. She also serves as managing editor of The Final Call newspaper. She began her career with the influential award-winning Black weekly as a freelance writer then contributing writer. She came on board as a staff writer in October 2010 and became an assistant editor in 2013. She was appointed managing editor in 2016.
Sister Starla has covered and written on a broad range of issues in economics, religion, politics, social justice, arts and entertainment and much more. She has had the pleasure of interviewing the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, hip hop legend Busta Rhymes, author and radio personality Charlamagne tha God, economist and author Dr. Julianne Malveaux, activist and academic Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, and many other activists, artists and luminaries. In addition to The Final Call her articles have published in Source Magazine, and various Black-owned newspapers around the country.
She is from Columbus, Ohio, is a graduate of The Ohio State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
Sister Starla became a student and follower of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad under the guidance and leadership of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan in 1995 at Mosque No. 43 in Columbus, Ohio. She has labored in a variety of capacities in the Nation of Islam including the posts of: squad leader, lieutenant, first officer, MGT & GCC student captain, secretarial staff and orientation instructress.
Sister Starla is happily married to Brother Bernard K. Muhammad and is the proud mother of a son, Yusef.
Brother Chad Muhammad is a native of Tampa, Florida. He was introduced to the teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad as taught by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan in 1993 becoming a registered member in 1994. Brother Chad is a husband of 23 years and a loving father of 3. He has served in the prison reform ministry, as a student record keeper, student F.O.I. coordinator, student F.O.I. captain in the cities of Tampa and St. Petersburg, Florida. He now serves as the Student Minister of Mosque 47. Brother Chad is humble and honored to serve first and foremost as a brother and fellow believer! In the city of Tampa, Florida he has developed a working relationship with the local chapter of the NAACP, the COACH foundation, Tampa Hillsborough Action Plan Inc., and other local programs and grassroots organizations who work on behalf of the liberation of our people in the city of Tampa.
Sis. Shelah Muhammad has been a registered member of the Nation of Islam since 1990. She has been working in the field of Audio Visual since 1999. She worked for Swank Audio Visual for several years as the Audio Visual Coordinator in Tampa, Florida. She became one of the members of the Tech Team in Memphis, TN under the Tutelage of Bro. Marticus Muhammad in early 2008. She also was a part of the Tech Team of the Tsunami Prayer Line in early 2008. She was a member of the Audio Visual Tech Team during our Holy Day of Atonement and the Saviours’ Day Conventions for several years under the Direction of Bro. Ademah Muhammad. She has recently joined the Closing The Gap Broadcast Team under the Guidance and Foresight of Bro. Student Minister James Muhammad.
I’m so thankful to Allah to be living in this Prophetic day and time. I would like to thank each and everyone that allotted me an opportunity to help serve in our mission of helping our Leader, The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, in raising our people to the knowledge of self and our God.
